Morning Star Ranch
Summer 2013
Thursday, 09 May 2013 18:21

While it almost seems impossible, horse camp season will quickly be upon us.  We are so excited for what Jesus has in store for us this summer.  We have scheduled three camps, one we will put on ourselves, our counselor camp,  and one in partnership with a church here in Hungary.  We are so excited to see the vision God has given us to partner with other ministries come to fruition.  Jesus is so good!

Registration is complete for our camp this summer.  We had an overwhelming response and 30 campers between the ages of 10 and 13 are registered.  We love working with this age group as they are so excited to be at camp, yet sensitive to the Spirit’s moving.  As this is right before many of them enter high school it also a crucial time to set them on the right path with Jesus.  However, working with this age group also means that many of the campers are inexperienced riders, so the horse portion of camp can be more difficult to execute.  Please join us in praying for a openness to Jesus on the part of the campers and for wisdom for running our horse program.

The Summer of 2012 at Morning Star Ranch
Tuesday, 04 September 2012 14:00
Thank you all for your prayers for our horse camps this summer.  We praise God as we really could feel your prayers  and believe that Jesus was present at all three camps at Morning Star Ranch this summer.
Our first camp was the discipleship camp in which we invited back previous campers who aged out of our regular camp and now serve as counselors.  This time of camp was more relaxed with the greatest focus being on coming together as a group, preparing spiritually for camp and doing the last minute preparations. We focused on the true meaning of discipleship and being one in Christ so that through our relationships with each other the campers could see Jesus. It was such a blessing to have this time as we feel we all grew in our relationships with Christ and with one another.
